Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 7/25/2026

1. Chatly Subscription Refunds

Chatly is billed monthly or annually per our published plans. You may cancel your subscription at any time before your next billing date — cancellation stops future charges but does not retroactively refund the current billing period, except as set out below or where required by law.

The Pro plan includes our 90-Day Challenge: if, after 90 days of active use, you have not saved at least 10 hours of admin time or collected at least R5,000 in payments through Chatly, we will refund your most recent month's retainer. Setup fees are non-refundable once onboarding work has been delivered.

2. Refunds for Orders Placed via Chatly (WhatsApp Commerce)

Chatly also powers WhatsApp ordering and checkout for merchants' own customers. Orders placed this way are a transaction between the customer and the merchant — the merchant is responsible for order fulfilment, product quality, and delivery, not Chatly/Vularis.

To request a cancellation or refund for an order, the customer should contact the merchant directly in the same WhatsApp conversation used to place the order.

Because merchant-level payment splitting is still being rolled out, order payments are currently processed through our (Vularis's) Paystack account on the merchant's behalf. Once the merchant confirms a refund is due, we process it via Paystack back to the customer's original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days (Paystack's standard processing window).

Our role and liability in this flow is limited to accurately and promptly processing confirmed refund transactions. We are not liable for disputes about the underlying product or service quality between a merchant and their customer.
